The staff were very good and enthusiastic and knew their area. the room was impressive and luxurious and provided with the bedside table, a high ceiling, as an example. - I greatly enjoyed the breakfast with a wide range of bread, cereal, pastries, and eggs.

I stayed here for a trip and would come here again. The hotel was well priced and extremely comfy with knowledgeable people with excelkent service. The location was wonderful, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a Dutch national museum.

We stayed in the a double room equipped with a bath, Champagne plus large windows. The breakfast was rich at a cheaper rate and with outstanding food.

luckiliy room was comfortable and clean

my sis and i went ot the bar but no one came to take our orders, so i have to walk around to search for the bar staff who was out in the open yard area which passed me a menu, and then i had to walk to the bar counter to tell him my selection.

    Dinning Services were great.

Reception staff were highly undertrained. Had to change rooms 3x because of shower problems.

    1) The room overlooked the terrace of the restaurante&bar and at night was a bit noisy. 2) Employees at the reception were very young and some were not focus on their jobs. Whenever you asked something like: can I have the keys again of my room ? The answer was: did you ckecked out already ? So, not focus on who was who. the rest was ok.

The breakfast here is delicious and offers great value for the money, plus the location across from a tram stop is fantastic.

Loved the friendly, accomodating staff. When I called, they appeared very quickly. Lovely surprise: water, in cool , reusable bottle and delicious chocolate pops delivered one night, and a bottle of nice red wine and pops again, the next night. Always free water available, while most hotels charge. Great location for museums and shopping and restaurants. Interesting mix of old and new. Nice outdoor terrace and bar. Safe neighborhood. Hip..

There were large skylights in the room with rope pulls which were a bit unwieldy. The bath/shower was not that easy to enter(definitely not for older travelers.) The bathroom was pretty, but a bit dark, as were the corridors.

Its architecture is nice, and there is a boutique vibe to the place. Its clean for the most part but in some parts a bit shabby around the edges.

At 169 euro per night, its expensive, particularly as its run by hotel students from the local college. When I told them that I wasnt very well one day (when they tried to clean my room) they told me to have a nice day (no offer of help was forthcoming). For me on a business trip, there wasnt enough light in the room to work by - and when I gave this feedback they said they heard this a lot - but it was the intended ambience of the place. So not massively helpful. The breakfast was expensive too at 24 euro per day. It was generally a pleasant hotel in a good location and it had shops and restaurants nearby, but the service wasnt what you would expect for 169euro per night.
